Learn how to create and print your own fabric design from accomplished local textile artist Kirsten Aune.

This product is currently out of stock and unavailable.

Join accomplished textile artist Kirsten Aune and learn more about her process during a three-session class. The first session will be held at her Brick and Mortar shop in the Lincoln Park craft district for a powerpoint presentation and close-up look at what she’s been creating for her shop. The following two sessions will be at her studio, a few blocks East from her shop.

Students will learn how to cut stencils, learn about different inks, prepare yardage, and then print their own fabric designs. Kirsten is known for her “Modern Scandinavian” aesthetic, and she creates original geometric and floral designs using stencils that she cuts by hand and then arranges in dynamic visual compositions using bright blocks of color and bold designs.
