Overview & History

In 1973, a few interested fiber artists in the Duluth, Minnesota area formed the Duluth Fiber Handcrafters Guild (DFHG). Since then, the membership has grown to about 160 members. In 2021, our name changed to Duluth Fiber Guild (DFG) in conjunction with our application for non-profit status. Read the DFHG History.

From beginners to experts…

We value all the ways our members differ, both personally and artistically.

Our membership is varied and everyone is welcome! We are complete beginners and seasoned experts. We are young and old. We share an interest in the fiber arts and a desire to gather with those who share our passion.
