The 2023 50th Anniversary celebration of the DFG gives us the opportunity to recognize and celebrate one of our founders, Janet Meany. We are mounting a retrospective of Janet’s weavings and paintings to exhibit at the Textile Center. More on this exhibit will be available later in 2023.
These activities are made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, thanks to appropriations from the Minnesota State Legislature general, and arts and cultural heritage funds. We also thank the Lloyd K. Johnson Foundation for support, and many private contributors.
