Make your house a home by following Central Asian traditions. Explore different styles of felt rugs from Kyrgyzstan and then begin crafting your pre-felt on Friday evening. Saturday, design and lay out your rug, and designate Sunday to wetting down and shrinking the rugs by hand. This is a physical process; please come prepared to be on your feet and engaged in your project. Your rug (beginning about 6 ft. x 2.5 ft. and shrinking approximately 40%) can be used in your home for many years to come.
