Fiber Skills Teacher Workshop

On Friday, March 5, the Guild hosted a workshop for the Northeast region art teachers. Guild members taught the teachers a number of easy dyeing, felting, and weaving projects that could be used for K-12 students.  After the hands on sessions, there were additional opportunities to try needle felting, carding and spinning, and weaving on the floor loom.  The teachers took away several projects and instructional hand outs and a new appreciation for the fiber arts.  The day was deemed a success by both presenters and attendees!
