Spinning Study Group Dye Day

Saturday, August 8, this study group dyed knitted “blanks.”  A month or so before the meeting spinners hand spun white yarn and gave it to Dave.  Dave used his knitting machine to knit each spinner’s hand spun yarn into a knitted rectangle.  Then, today they dyed their blanks and “unknitted” them back into (dyed) skeins, creating space-dyed yarns.  Some had messages which became hidden in the yarn!
