Wood and wool at Naotun Boatworks

We had a large group of DFG members and guests attend the field trip to Noatun Boatworks for our March member meeting. Many thanks to our hosts, John and Justin, for describing the many facets of their work (more like play!) in a building full of fascinating hand tools. Boatmaking was a main feature, but we also saw (some even participated) a foot pedal lathe, nail production, and the in-process weavings on 3 looms.
