Want to learn how to warp a loom? Or need to update your warping skills? Or do you just want to try a different method? This class will teach the 6 steps of Lou French’s method of warping Back to Front. You will learn (or be reminded of) how to wind a warp, roll on to the back beam, thread heddles, sley the reed, tie on to the front beam, and tie up the treadles.
Dates: Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23; 10:00 am-2:00 pm

Instructor: Barb Dwinell
Instructor Bio: Barb is a floor loom weaver who has belonged to the Guild for about 25 years. Her areas of interest include exploring color in weaving, complicated weave structures and the tedium of double weave pickup. For some years she taught Beginning Floor Loom weaving.
Refund policy: If you need to cancel your class registration, you will receive a refund, less a $5 administrative fee, if the cancellation is received fourteen days prior to the class. If you cancel less than fourteen days before the class, you will not be eligible for a refund. If for some reason DFG needs to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund.
